Michael Barrett, 48, was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $7,366.
Barrett had previously pleaded guilty to the charge. Michael Barrett reportedly shopped the Erin Andrews peephole videos to at least on celebrity website, and after being turned down, uploaded 10 of them on the Internet, IDing the reporter in his posts.
At Monday's sentencing hearing, the ESPN reporter told the court that she still suffers as a result of the "Erin Andrews peephole video." The 31-year-old said: "I'm being victimized every day...and I did nothing to deserve it. I'm living public humiliation. It's my body that's on the Internet. [...] He stalked me, he terrorized me -- this will never be over for me, and I don't want it to ever be over for you (referring to Barrett)."
During the aftermath of the Erin Andrews peephole video revelations, Andrews sometimes found herself stalked by others. You can read a transcript of a 911 call and listen to audio here.
According to court documents, at least 16 other unidentified women were targeted by Barrett in the same way. Court papers described them only as "female sports reporters and other television personalities."
Erin Andrews was voted America's "sexiest sportscaster" by Playboy magazine in 2007 and 2008, pre-peephole video days.
